Steve Gaines was cremated and memorialized in his hometown of Miami, Oklahoma, but was then interred in Jacksonville Memory Garden. Steve and Cassie's graves are adjacent to Ronnie's.
Due to the grave vandalizism of Steve's original gravesite on June 29, 2000, his family moved his remains to an undisclosed location.
