FREEBIRD... THE MOVIE

SOUNDTRACK RELEASE

No one who experienced Freebird... The Movie at the Fox Theatre in Atlanta on December 29, 1995 will ever forget the power and energy of Lynyrd Skynyrd's classic live sound. This summer, MCA plans the release of the film's incredible soundtrack. Featuring live versions of Skynyrd classics like 'Gimme Three Steps', 'Workin' For MCA', 'Sweet Home Alabama' and, of course, 'Freebird' this release will be sure to please any Skynyrd fan. Making the soundtrack even more exciting will be the first-ever release of 'Travelin' Man' on compact disc as well as the inclusion of live versions of 'What's Your Name' and 'That Smell' from Street Survivors. No longer will the dedicated Skynyrd fan have to endure faded, distorted bootlegs to enjoy the unique live Skynyrd sound.

Freebird... The Movie was released nationwide on August 13, 1996 on MCA Records. The artwork and photos included in the cd booklet are truly stunning -- one of the best Skynyrd releases in years.
