We received information from fans all over the country on venues for showing Freebird... The Movie. We had to revise our plans due to the movie being shown on VH-1 April 25. There was a substantial part of the US that did not receive VH-1 or received it on a limited basis. So there were still a lot of Lynyrd Skynyrd fans that wouldn't be able to see the movie. We wanted to bring the movie to as many parts of the country as possible in a concert type venue. You really haven't seen Freebird... The Movie until you've seen it on the big screen with a concert-type sound system and several hundred other excited Lynyrd Skynyrd fans!

Most of the details were worked out with Cabin Fever Entertainment for the Freebird Foundation, Inc to sponsor screenings of the movie.
